Have you joined ChannelEyes yet?

Since coming out of beta last month, the ChannelEyes social network has grown to 2,500 Channel Partner Companies and over 400 vendor, manufacturer, distributor and association feeds across 40 countries.

ChannelEyes Social Wall
ChannelEyes was launched earlier this year as the first free and secure social network for Channel Partners to use every day.  It’s kind of like Facebook, but instead of friends – it’s a filtered group of Vendor feeds on a Social Wall.

Channel Partners now have a single place to see a snapshot of new channel information.  They’ll cut through the noise and clutter because they control who to follow, filter the relevant information and build social conversations around it.

The average Solution Provider, VAR, Integrator or MSP has between 10-15 key partnerships within their business ecosystem.  Keeping up-to-date on key programs, incentives and technical information is getting more difficult as emails pile up, portals become more complex and time is at a premium.  Missing this critical information can have a real impact on margins, whether it is not being aware of incentives or rebates, not taking advantage of marketing dollars, or being scooped by a competitor leveraging a vendor program.

Vendors, manufacturers, distributors and associations of all types will have a single place to engage with their entire channel, targeting the right person with the right information at the right time.  The net result is better engagement, sell-through, and access to potential new partners.

If you are in the IT, Managed Services, Telco, Print, AV or other technology verticals today, ChannelEyes is a ridiculously simple way to organize your business partnerships, saving time and allowing you to take advantage of timely information.

Managed Print Industry Heats Up On ChannelEyes

ChannelEyes partners with Photizo Group, who is powering the Transform 2012 event on May 24-25 in Orlando, FL.

With 50 percent of office printing revenue projected to be under a managed print services (MPS) contract by 2014, the transformation to services is critical for the imaging industry. Recognizing the importance of the change facing channel partners, both Transform 2012 and ChannelEyes have built unique platforms focused on driving the channel’s success.

“We are very pleased to partner with ChannelEyes and announce the company as a contributing sponsor at Transform 2012.” said Edward Crowley, CEO and President of Photizo Group. “As the channel continues to transition from hardware-centric business models to service-led business models, information sharing and education remain essential during this transformation.”

ChannelEyes is the single place for channel partners to get a daily snapshot of new program information. Cutting through the noise and clutter will be easier because partners control which vendors they follow, filter the relevant information based on their job role, and build peer conversations. It is a powerful new way to organize business partnerships, saving time, and taking advantage of timely information.

Powered by the imaging industry’s leading market intelligence firm, Transform 2012 provides the industry’s most comprehensive education addressing managed print services and beyond. The conference features more than 30 sessions ranging from basic to advanced implementation issues for making the transformation to profitable services-centric business. Attendees will engage with industry analysts, vendors and their peers during two evening networking receptions.

“This partnership really makes sense for attendees,” said Crowley. “Transform 2012 provides an educational forum for the channel to share ideas and connect with their industry and ChannelEyes can really enhance those connections with their online platform simplifying communications between vendors and channel partners.”

ChannelEyes users receive a 25% discount on conference registration. Register at www.photizogroup.com/global2012 and use code CE25.

ChannelEyes Announces Partner Pass

Vendors can now easily invite their authorized partners by sending a secure link.

ChannelEyes LLC today announced a new and innovative way for vendors, manufacturers, distributors and associations to build a broader Partner following to their channel program information.  The Partner Pass allows them to easily invite their authorized partners by providing a secure web link that can be shared inside partner emails, newsletters or the portal.

"We were getting a lot of sign-ups, and I had to authorize them one at a time" said Nicole Lopez, Community Coordinator with QuoteWerks.  "With the new Partner Pass we will be able to invite our partner base, and have them automatically approved to follow us on ChannelEyes."

Founded in 2011, ChannelEyes is the first free and secure social network built exclusively for the IT, Telco, AV and Print Channels.  Kind of like Facebook, but instead of friends, it’s a filtered group of vendor and association feeds on a social wall. It’s the single place to get a snapshot of new channel program information every day.

"ChannelEyes will help us get the right info to our partners at the right time" said Melony White, Channel Director at VAR Dynamics. "We are very excited to get our partners up and running with the new Partner Pass."

SMB Nation, ChannelEyes Announce SMB IT Channel Social Media Partnership

Media integration and social networking service team to spread mutual messages of furthering the SMB community via a variety of mediums and content.

Bainbridge Island, WA - April 02, 2012

SMB Nation and ChannelEyes have teamed up to provide new content and services aimed at making IT professionals’ jobs easier than ever. With SMB Nation having a long history of media integration, and ChannelEyes as a new social networking service that connects IT vendors and SMB channel partners, both have a primary mission of serving the SMB IT channel.
Through the new partnership, SMB Nation will help ChannelEyes spread its message among SMB Nation’s tribe of 45,000 IT professionals and will also publish content related to the social network. For its part, ChannelEyes will highlight SMB Nation content and promote the company’s events among its membership. SMB Nation plans to leverage its partnership with ChannelEyes to offer material related to the suppliers, distributors, associations, and peer groups that are of interest to ChannelEye members.
“ChannelEyes brings a much needed service to the SMB IT channel. Their social network will simplify communication between vendors and channel partners and provide a one-stop shop for channel partners wanting to manage their existing vendor relationships or discover new partner opportunities. ChannelEyes is the perfect venue for sharing SMB Nation’s experience and expertise,” said Tom Poole, CEO, SMB Nation.
ChannelEyes operates a social network through which vendors communicate directly with channel partners via feeds that appear on a social wall. Vendors can then customize their feeds to ensure that channel partners only receive information relevant to them, and channel partners can subscribe to whichever vendor feeds interest them. ChannelEyes offers its users a variety of additional social functions, including feed filtering (by roles, popularity, likes, and incentives); real-time conversations surrounding feeds; and searchable profiles.
Our executive team members have all been involved with SMB Nation for many years. We know firsthand that the SMB Nation tribe is a highly technical, passionate group of professionals,” said Jay McBain, co-founder of ChannelEyes, “We’re pleased to partner with them to offer channel members the ability to communicate and collaborate more deeply with vendors in an effort to maximize everyone’s profits and efficiency.”
The SMB Nation/ChannelEyes partnership begins immediately and will extend through March 2013.

"Charlie Channel" Sparking Interest
At a recent keynote overseas, Bob Godgart, Managing Partner of ChannelEyes was surprised in the level of interest in our mascot Charlie.

Not only did he field questions on stage, they kept pouring in afterwards as well. "Perhaps the question about Charlie's gender came as the most surprising!" Godgart said.
